Skitch

This is an app that I use quite a bit. Skitch is very useful if you would like to quickly annotate on a screenshot, telling the other party what exactly is on your screen. 

As a web designer, more often than not I need to explain certain parts of a design to a client for example, doing a screenshot and annotating it in Photoshop is not as efficient as doing it on Skitch.

 Of course there are countless ways you can use Skitch, like drawing funny things on your friends’ photos etc. You can even quickly shoot a photo of yourself using your webcam or Mac’s built in iSight camera right within the app itself. 

Skitch is a free application and currently available for Mac only.
